STAGE:
· 25 feet (wide) x 10 feet (deep) x minimum 1 foot (high) - or additional side/front staging. (Triangular ok.)
· dressing room with power, mirrors, seating and lighting suitable for 3 women.
· stage access from dressing room or security available to provide escort to stage.
· if requested - two security guards at front of stage (FOR DANCERS).

LIGHTING:
· Red, electric blue, orange and green gels. We prefer whites or yellows not be used except as spots.
· Blue lights aimed for dancers at stage left, stage right and center stage.

ACCOMODATION (For 6):
· three hotel rooms: one x queen-size / two x two double
· located within 15 minutes drive of venue with parking available for 30 foot vehicle.

CATERING (For 6):
· four drinks each and a hot meal (including meat) for six.
· one bottle of either Jagermeister or Bombay Gin or Jack Daniels
· minimum 6 bottles water, 4 bottles of Red Bull (or other energy drink)

PARKING:
· for 30 foot vehicle with access to stage while band is in venue.

SOUNDCHECK AND SETUP:
· minimum 30 minutes.
· venue is closed and empty during this time.
· minimum 60 minute break after soundcheck.

The P.A. must be ready to play at the arrival time of the band & there must be a technician who knows the P.A. well. The sound-technician is present during the whole length of the event, sober and responsive at any time from load-in to load-out. The band does NOT provide a P.A. or monitor engineer.

NOTE: There may be minor contact fire used during the show, it is applied directly to the dancers skin.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
· 16 channel mixing board with 3 monitor sends.
· FOH should be a 3 way active system, monitors should be at least 2 way passive.
· vocal delay unit capable of approx 120 ms of slapback delay with reverb on backups.
· 2 channels patchable compression (DBX 166XT/Behringer).
· system should be capable of achieving 120 DB at 1 meter.

•  Stage Right: (Caroline) One line and one boom stand required.
•  Stage Left: (John) Two lines and one boom stand required.
•  Drums: in North America the drums are internally mic'd with Shure 57's except the kick and snare. if overheaads are used place the high-hat mic under the ride to also hear the cowbell. The snare mic will pick up enough of the hi-hat as it is only used for time-keeping.
•  Vocal Effects: John requires a slapback echo (approx 120 m/s delay medium repeat) on main vocal mic (Shure 55) and Caroline requires plate reverb on backing vocal mic (Beta 58). No effects are required for the Shure Harp Mic.
•  Monitors: We request there ONLY be two foldback monitors at the front of the stage, left and right (with separate mixes preferred) and a drum monitor. FOLDBACK MONITORS require all three front vocals. DRUM MONITOR also requires all vocals - possibly kick drum and upright bass.

OUTDOOR STAGES: FOLDBACK MONITORS may require upright bass and guitar.

BAND GEAR PROVIDED:

•  Microphones: Stage left are a Shure SM 55 (basically a 58 in a chrome housing) and a Shure Bullet harmonica mic running through a ProCo Rat Overdrive into a Matchbox DI-1 - sound characteristics are warm and distorted (like an old megaphone.) The Rat is modified to contain a mute switch, so John can mute the mic when not in use. Both mics used simultaneously. Stage right is a Shure Beta 58 for backup vocals.
•  Drum kit: left-handed 4-piece with three cymbal stands & high hat (22" kick 14" rack 16" floor). Toms have internal microphones - we just need snare and kick microphones.
•  Standup Double Bass: Ampeg SVT III (with D.I.) with Ampeg 4x10 (North America) or A.M.P. (no D.I.) Hartke 4x10 Cabinet (Europe).
•  Guitar Amps: Two Class A amplifiers: main amp is a 15-watt Gibson Goldtone RV with a 12" Celestion. On top is a 15-watt Gibson Goldtone GA with a 10 " Celestion on switch for fuzz guitar (used simultaneously with main amp).

BACKLINE REQUIRED: (if provided by promoter)

1. Guitar Amplifiers - two tube combo amps (40 watts or 15 watts Class A)
.. .Preferred: as above or Fender Deluxe style with Reverb.
2. Bass Amplifier - one tube head + cab (cab = 8x10 or 4x10/1x15)
. .Preferred: Ampeg SVT / Fender Bassman 150
3. Drum Set - three-pc drum set (floor / rack / kick) with hi-hat stand, snare stand and 3 cymbal stands.
... Preferred: 20" kick / 12" rack tom / 16" floor tom. We provide snare, kick pedal and cymbals.
4. Upright bass (3/4 size) w/ nylon strings if possible.
... Preferred: Any with proper setup/adjustable bridge. (Band will provide bass pickup and strings if neccesary).
